The re-design of Studentsamskipnaden i Finnmark's (Finnmark University College's student club) logo is an arrow for two reasons; it points north because Finnmark is the state farthest north in Norway and it symbolises "the right direction." The colour is purple because purple means "rare" and that's what student life in Finnmark is, you don't get the same experiences and adventures anywhere else in Norway.
